A Flexible Yet Cost-Effective System
ONNI has worked with Primavista since 2011. At the time, the young and growing company needed a financial reporting system.
“We were lacking a proper reporting system and gradually began bringing financial processes in-house, even though we were still partly using an accounting firm. We needed more accurate and higher-quality reporting than our previous partner could offer. We wanted to sharpen our operations and were looking for the right partner to support that,” says Sanna-Mari Ovaska, CFO of Med Group.

No Need for Developers—Consultants Are Enough
ONNI uses Primavista for cost center-level reporting, group consolidation, and budgeting.
“We produce group consolidation reports monthly. When Primavista is properly configured—with acquisition calculations built into the system and intercompany data automatically reconciled from the accounting system—the monthly consolidation can be completed very quickly, sometimes in just a couple of hours. I can highly recommend it.”
According to Ovaska, Primavista’s adaptability is its greatest advantage.
“In many systems, you need a team of consultants whenever you want to make changes. But Primavista is easy to use and works well for us because we can create reports and calculation models ourselves. You don’t need to be a developer to build new reports. It’s cost-effective because we can produce meaningful reports using our own resources and adjust structures as needed.”
Ovaska notes that throughout nearly a decade of collaboration, support has always been readily available.
“Help is always provided quickly, and the collaboration has been seamless. I also value that we have had a dedicated contact person from the beginning, rather than relying on an anonymous helpdesk. High turnover on the vendor side can be frustrating if people constantly change and are not familiar with your business. We’ve had the same contact person throughout our entire partnership.”
A System That Keeps Pace with Growth
Ovaska concludes that Primavista has supported ONNI’s growth every step of the way.
“Primavista has grown with us, served us well, and supported our reporting needs to this day. The system has scaled alongside our rapid growth. We have also been pleased that costs have remained under control despite significant expansion. Over the past ten years, we have had three different owners, and reporting requirements have evolved along the way. Primavista has adapted together with the company,” Ovaska summarizes.
